The Cotton Pickin' Flyers Disc Golf Club promote disc golf in Athens, AL and surrounding areas. We run disc golf tournaments and weekly leagues throughout the year on our local course.
The Sportplex course has 19 holes featuring multiple pins on sixteen holes (To see where the baskets are currently, check the Database section of this site.) and two tees on nine of the holes. While the Sportsplex is mostly open it is made challenging by the OB, that comes into play on fifteen holes, and length, which can measure over 8000' from long tees to the long pins. Wind is almost always a factor here as well as there is little out there to block it.
The recently remodeled Athens State University course features 6 beginner friendly holes.

Sunday afternoons, 1:30 at the Sportsplex.
Thursday evenings, 5:30 at ASU.
